The new style movement has witnessed many movers and shakers in its long presence, but possibly only a tiny can compete the legacy offered by the Irish designer Kathleen Eileen Moray Gray to the movement. Much similar to her previous contemporaries Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Walter Gropius, Eileen Gray included the designs and characteristics observed in new architecture into furniture design and creating to many chairs, tables and other furnishings that are both useful things and works of art.
