Ever had to fly someplace with three wee ones? If you’re nodding your head wildly, then we can really understand how that must have been trying to keep them entertained. While the children are likely good as gold there is something about being in a metal canister at ungodly heights that seems to set even the most well behaved kid off.
I’ve never been able to figure out what that’s precisely, but after having flown next to a four-year old who screamed for over 4 hours while looking out the cabin window, I’d think it’s the fact they can’t see the ground. Come to think of it, if I were four years old again, I’d likely have a hissy fit over not seeing the ground too. The poor kid was not a happy camper. If I’ve a dime for each time that harried mom told her kid to calm down they’d be at Grandma’s house soon, it’s entirely likely I would have enough money to retire on at a very early age. The mom was making a real effort to keep those kids under control, but the toys that they were being given to play with really weren’t all the interesting and actually looked like they were for older kids, not youngsters. Coloring isn’t a bad idea if you’ve a nice quiet place to do that, but it really doesn’t work on a plane surrounded by strangers. When I was tiny I had this toy that zipped when it moved, whirled and twirled and made the neatest sounds. Wow those toys were fantastic. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch of the imagination to consider that little boy really taking a fancy to some of the toys I was fortunate enough to grow up with. Shop for super toys in specialty stores that cater to smaller kids with lively imaginations and a will to have fun with their toys. No, this toy has to be robust, sturdy, safe, reasonably priced and amusing for more than four minutes. Child test these toys at home to gage how well your children like them.
